Herbie Butcher's Fried Chicken permanently closed on March 30, 2025. The 100% vegan fried chicken concept from the team behind The Herbivorous Butcher operated at 507 1st Ave NE in Northeast Minneapolis. Crispy chicken sandwiches, tenders, and comfort sides — all plant-based. The Herbivorous Butcher continues to sell some HBFC products online and at their NE Minneapolis shop.
