Sift Gluten Free

I am 100% gluten-free, what fun this was to pick up two normal textured, great tasting pizza crusts. Made our barbecue chicken pizza, which has been way too long! The baked goods were delicious! Other gluten-free bakeries tend to make their baked goods far too sweet. Perhaps it’s an attempt to compensate? Not the case with Sift. I do wish that they had more options for bread. There is a chance that I could have missed a section, with lots of beautiful loaves of bread. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Great gluten free bakery. As someone who has had celiac for 20+ years the options here are amazing. They also have great prices compared to the other local all gluten free bakery. I’d say 90% of the options are definitely worth trying and taste great. I’ve only had a few things that weren’t as good as I had hoped, I think that comes down to personal preference though. One thing that I’d say is a must have is the ice cream sandwiches, I crave those every time the summer heat comes around.

I ordered a dessert for my son’s rehearsal dinner in WI. There were several guests with gluten allergies and also other food allergies. I placed a special order for Scotcheroos. They even packed the bars in boxes that were cooler-sized to transport on a hot July day. The guests LOVED 🥰 them! Even the guests without allergies were surprised at how delicious 😋 they were. My daughter and son-in-law brought me 3 different treats for my birthday celebration. All 3 are amazing. I ate the cupcake right away and it was moist and beautifully dense like pound cake, I’m having the donut right now a day later and it tastes fresh and flavorful. I tasted a smidge of the tort which I’m excited to have for my dessert tonight. Everything traveled well and is just as fabulous next day. 10/10 recommend because your mama really will appreciate this! 💜

I ordered a Special Order Vanilla with Chocolate Frosting 9" Cake. Wow! Just plain wow! Delicious, moist, wonderful! As a takeout / special order I didn't stay to eat, but it seemed not overly noisy and there were plenty of people inside when I picked up. Item was ready, service was great. (Good atmosphere.)

As usual, we chose this as a gluten free bakery destination while traveling. Comparing GF donuts across the country, they would be 8/10 for me. The texture and flavor was very good. They did not stand out as a particularly unique or superior to others but certainly a favorite for anyone restricted or choosing GF diet. The guests with me do not typically eat GF. They enjoyed the lemon poppyseed muffin and a mocha and hot chocolate but ranked them in need of more flavor. Sift hand crafts their own flavor syrups, which could be the reason for the flavor expectation not being met. Parking is very limited on site due to their proximity to an intersection and no nearby lot. Their local reputation speaks for itself in the numerous shops they also supply with their baked goods. Overall, it’s a gem! The variety and quality and the pricing all make it a standard to look up to in a Midwest metropolis.

Delicious latte and double chocolate donut for under $10. You don't miss the dairy or gluten in any of their products. The donut was soft and moist with decadent chocolate frosting. Haven't tried the breads yet, I'll try to update later, but they definitely pass the squish test, springing right back just like a glutenful item. I also got myself a birthday cupcake :) vegan cream cheese frosting was amazing! You've got a try the savory monkey bread. Highly recommend

Love that so many items are also dairy free. They use a dense batter for the items I tried. Works best in the cinnamon bun (helped by the runny frosting and brown sugar/ cinnamon), which seemed to justifiably be a hot seller. Vanilla cupcake was good, frosting and cake could have been softer/less dense (rice flour and a starch with egg are good for the batter, coconut oil works wonders for a creamier frosting as long as the audience likes coconut). Didn't realize the ginger and pear had fruit bits in it which normally turns me off but was small enough to be fine... just wish the ginger was stronger! Was traveling so no comment on shelf life.

The PERFECT place. I’ve been to so many gluten free bakeries over the years but this one shines through. My personal favorites are the muffins and scones but honestly everything i’ve gotten from there has been unforgettable. I will say if you plan to bring some home and save the food (which I do since it’s a little bit of a trek to go) I’d plan to put them in the fridge and then heat them up in the microwave for around 15s to get them warm again. Overall one of the best gluten free bakeries around so appreciative.

Stopped in Sunday April 19th to pick up a free treats to surprise a friend who has celiac. I picked up a few cinnamon rolls, a cinnamon spice donut and a banana chocolate chip muffin. I also had to try their chai tea latte which was so yummy.. The baked goods were so good and honestly comparably priced to many bakeries. The staff was cheerful and very helpful with suggestions. Definitely will be going back again. Thanks for being a smile maker Sift
