I enjoyed the viral Chicken Cesar Sandwich 💕
It was delicious 😋
They also had wine options!
Their bathrooms were spotless and beautiful for selfies!
Highly recommend 💘
I tried the popular chicken Caesar sandwich and the sauce was delicious and same for the chicken but the bread was too thick. I like the crust of the bread but definitely too thick which overpowered the rest of the sandwich. My friend that suggested the restaurant agreed on the bread being a little much and if we could carve out the inside of the bread a little more then it’d be perfect. The fried pork dumplings were juicy and flavorful!
The Kroeung Dumplings were one of the stronger dumpling specials offered here. I can drink the aioli that came with the dumplings! So good.
The chicken ceasar sandwich is definitely the cornerstone menu item here.
Both items have that hmm hmm yum umami deal going on.
Service was off with the two FOH people behind the kiosks just yapping and not acknowledging customers with a split second hi/welcome. The person prepping my order had a more customer-forward service attitude.
Stopped in here last week for the red braised pork burrito and the cumin fries! A super filling delightful meal, however, I'd strongly encourage you to get a sauce with your burrito so you get a little extra flavor/kick. The fries had a great texture and were paired with a delicious, zesty and spicy sauce. There are a lot of things to try on this menu, so if a burrito isn't your thing, check out their dumplings or their specials! They've got a Caesar chicken sandwich special right now that my coworker said was very good.
Another dining adventure to a restaurant which first started out as a food truck and made their way into establishing a restaurant. My coworkers were dying to try this place so I was all too happy too join. So one thing one brought was this limited fried chicken sandwich which it was so big I could only eat have of it. We also added some side dishes we could all share. The food was really outstanding.
Had to stop in for the new popular item, the chicken caeser salad sandwich. Super delicious! Please keep it on the menu! I was very impressed with the sandwich looking the way it has been advertised online.
Run don’t walk. No wrong choice on their regular menu but the cumin fries and the chips side are NOT to be missed. Crispy chicken sambal burrito is my favorite. They have rotating dumplings and occasional collabs - you will kick yourself if you miss them so don’t. Grateful to eat at a business that aligns with my values and supports our Minneapolis community.
I've had their dumplings a while back and immediately fell in love. I've now tried one of their burritos (chicken), and just wow. I don't think there's any going wrong here. Just amazing food.
I also tried the cloud bites. I liked them better with the orange hoisin sauce instead of the condensed milk. It reminded me of bao buns with the hoisin sauce 😋
Note: Their frozen dumplings are one of the best frozen foods I've had. Not as good as getting them hot & fresh, but heated up much better than the LaoBao brand frozen dumplings.
Love this place, and that's coming from an Asian. This is my go-to brunch place when I'm in Minneapolis. I'm not a vegetarian, but LOVE their eggplant rice bowl. So delicious and legit. Their dumplings are packed really full (a whole lot of meat), and their garlic-scallion dressing IS A MUST and totally worth the $2 extra. You order at the front desk (via an ipad) and the food is brought to your table. Clean ambience and lots of table space. Plus, you can take home frozen dumplings too. Two thumbs up from this Asian!
A great and colorful quick-serve sit down (or to go) place. They started off as a pop up dumpling place selling frozen dumplings you could make at home. Growing in popularity quickly they opened this brick and mortar location.
I’ve never been so impressed by a quick serve place ever. Like, holy cow, THE FLAVORS!!!!! The burrito is my absolute favorite hands down and look forward to it each time I go.
Don’t sleep on their OG dumplings (definitely get some frozen ones to go, they are fantastic and easy to prep). They do several collabs w local restaurants for new dumpling flavors which is cool as it highlights other small businesses in MN.
Lastly, the master minds behind it all Linda and Peter, are wonderful people. Kind, hospitable, and a great sense of humor.
Ok, ok - very last thing. Def try their breakfast burrito too. It’s a fun spin on their regular burrito….but make it, breakfast!
Enjoy!
