Honestly my favorite pizza and pasta to order downtown, I order from here a couple times a month. Food is delicious and delivery drivers are always awesome. I do only have 1 complaint... I add cheese to my toast that comes with pasta and I've requested several times to not have it be wrapped in foil because it sticks to the cheese and literally pulls all the cheese off, and it keeps coming wrapped in foil, and it completely ruins the toast with cheese. Small complaint, but happens every single time I order it
I will tell you that Pizza Luce, Minnesota's best pizza and a staple of passage for every MN resident. Staff are great, however, some of the security really need to have their panties removed from.....if they ease up on the right people and take care of people trying to cause issues, I guess that's is the only negative check mark for Pizza Luce.
Usually a delivery customer, we went to the Pizza Luce on 4th and 2nd Ave. The jalapeño popper pizza (adding chicken) was delicious - especially seconds out of the oven. The cocktails were great, the seating comfy, and the service was attentive and had us laughing with all the great humor. Great vibe.
I loved Pizza Luce. I visited it while I was in town to see a Twins game, and it was the perfect stop on the way to the park. The atmosphere was nice and relaxed. The cocktails were good, and the servers were attentive. Their pizza was delicious, and I really enjoyed their artichoke dip. If I ever find myself in Minneapolis again, I will definitely come back!
Pizza Luce was highly recommended. I would say overall, it was okay. The Spinach Artichoke Dip was good, but a little on the salty side. We ordered the Classic Pizza and it was good. Loved the crust. Our server was just meh. I asked for recommendations on a local beer and he asked which ones on the menu I wanted. He couldn’t give a good recommendation. He was also slow. We had to track him down to get our check and again to pay. He only had 2 tables of people to serve.
We went before the Wolves game. We had the Meatball appetizer with cheesy bread. Delicious! Our pizzas were all good, and we also had the Brownie Sundae. I was so pleased that they had Sugar Free 1919. Our server was great. Not intrusive or pushy. I don't remember the servers name but they wore a black cowboy hat. I would return for sure!
Phenomenal food does not begin to describe our experience. The Luce pizza was amazing. The winter special, a spicy pesto pasta, was delicious. The pretzel was fluffy. Mustard tasted like something was missing, but was still delicious. The bartender taking care of us provided excellent service. We are in town for 5 days and we will be making sure we visit at least once more while here.
This is our go-to whenever we go see the Wolves play. Park in Ramp C, go to Street level walk 2 minutes to Pizza Luce, enjoy wonderful vegan options, walk back to ramp C, go up to sky way and walk to the Target Center. So freaking easy.
taken there by a resident who loves it. veggie chicken bites & potato pizza were great. service was slow but friendly . i'd definitely go again.
Staying in a nice hotel for a conference, ordered online, super easy, got the lasagna and a 10-in pizza pie. Delivered quick and hot. More importantly the lasagna was the best I've ever had in my life. And the pizza was fantastic. Seriously excellent job!
