Well this place is a gem! We decided to find a restaurant half way between us and some family. We met here on a Saturday afternoon and were delighted to see food and drink specials, on a SATURDAY. The cocktails were refreshing, and it was one of the best California burgers I've had: beef was nicely seasoned, the fresh toppings added nice texture. I also sampled the grilled cheese and falafel burgers, and both were tasty. I love a place where I can park pretty easily and isn't super crowded. We lucked out with a parking spot in the lot, and there were not a ton of people there. Plus they were playing a really cool variety of music. It's not an expansive menu, but everything on it was compelling ... we struggled to narrow down what to order. I hope I get to go back and meet up with family there again. And I wish I would have taken a few pics of our food and drink.

noisy and fun, FANTASTIC FOOD!!! wow that mushroom burger was A+mazing! French Fries were so good crisp and tender tasty, not over-seasoned, a real bistro flair worth every penny and that Flat Bread was huge stuffed cheesey entree, Aoli was delicious! very satisfying. bring an appetite, not for kids because it's a Bar but their Vegan options are stellar! Noisy but Fun! ample parking around the block.

Overall had a good experience. Had the fried chicken sandwhich which was solid. My only complaint was how long it took to get our drinks. It took at least 15 minutes to get a tap beer to our table, same thing for the 2nd beer. There was only one bartender (at least I think) on a Thursday night around 6-7PM when we went which is probably the reason. Our server was great and I could tell she was busy. Glad I tried it, but probably won't go back for awhile.

A favorite spot, especially their happy hour! Great cocktails, friendly service, and have never had a bad meal here. Personal favorites are the fries, the fried chicken sandwich, and chai espresso martini. They used to have these really great flat breads on the happy hour menu (bring that back 🥲).

Ladies lunch. 9 of us. We were well taken care of. Hamburger was great, so was the salad and French fries.

Hosted a rather large impromptu Sunday brunch for 15 people (including some youngsters) and everything about the experience was excellent. From the really nice manager who helped organize the reservation, to our accommodating server working a giant group, everyone went above and beyond. Food and drinks were delicious. Cool atmosphere.

Shared a nice dinner here with the wife and friends. A reservation was a must on a Friday night, all of the tables were full and most of the bar was (even though there is a good amount of bar space). Cocktails were enjoyed early on in the night: an interesting variation on an Old Fashioned and some gin-based drinks. We ordered the Mussels and Dumplings which were awesome (but we wanted more dumplings!), and they came with some sneaky spicy pepper slices. Main dishes ranged from the Red Snapper pasta, Turkey Leg confit, and Broccoli Mac n Cheese. I enjoyed the Mac n Cheese which I thought was excellent. It came in a baking dish to keep it warm throughout the meal, and it was one of those where I was scraping the bottom of the dish to get all the delicious cheese. Great meal and atmosphere, highly recommend.

We live in the neighborhood, and love that Book Club is here. We think the food is great! This time I had the seafood red coconut curry, and my wife had the asparagus risotto. Both were delicious, and I also really enjoyed my pineapple daiquiri. My only complaint is that we had to wait quite a while for the drink, and for my wife's wine. And then when my wife wanted a second glass of wine, it took a while for our server to notice, so there was a delay there too. Granted, it was pretty busy, but still -- just wanted to be honest that this made it a 4 instead of a 5 star experience. However, we still recommend Book Club! Just be prepared to be a bit patient, perhaps -- we were.
