Enjoyed the Lunar New Year menu with my husband. I could not recommend this place more! Good sake selection and a variety of cocktails. The vegan cream cheese wontons & egg rolls were the perfect starters. The caramelized shitakes & mock duck was ooey gooey deliciousness. My husband particularly enjoyed the crispy basket of noodles filled with tofu and stir-fried vegetables. The vegan grilled chicken was like nothing I've ever had. This 'meat' is made in house and the chef said it was developed from a vegan pork belly recipe they had. It has the texture and taste of pork belly, and was absolutely out of this world wrapped in lettuce with some crispy veggies. But the star of the evening was the warm mochi in ginger syrup. They should seriously bottle and sell this sauce! I'm dying to try it on ice cream! The mochi was sumptuously soft and and ginger syrup was so rich it almost tasted like drinking a ginger butter sauce. You've GOT to try it! Thank you for a lovely evening--we both look forward to coming back soon!
Went with 5 friends and had a terrific experience! The service was friendly and helpful as we were having a tough time deciding what to order - everything looked so good. We started with drinks- (they have a full bar,) and the appetizers were great- recommend the salt and pepper tofu and cucumber salad. There is a great selection of entrees, and 5 of us decided to go for the hot pot, but we all ordered different items. It was a really fun way to dine together, and everyone enjoyed the flavors. Portions are generous, so it's a good value for the price- and I recommend ordering shareable dishes in addition to the hot pots. A great place to go for a couple, but also very fun for a group of any size. Totally recommend checking out Jasmine 26, a wonderful family-owned local business!
This restaurant in Minnesota is truly a wonderful find. Today, I had the pleasure of trying the trio appetizer, which included ribs, cream cheese wontons, and egg rolls. I also ordered the fried pot stickers and the Black Pepper Pork Belly. The presentation of each dish was beautiful, and the flavors were even more impressive. My favorite among the appetizers was the coconut cream cheese wontons; it was my first time trying them with coconut, and the flavor was absolutely remarkable, making them a unique and special item. The egg rolls and pot stickers were delightfully crunchy, warm, and full of delicious flavors. The accompanying hot sauce and their house-made sweet and mildly spicy sauce were also quite enjoyable. I would highly recommend this establishment if you are looking to have a pleasant time and engaging conversation with your cherished loved ones.
Jasmine 26 has fantastic hot pot as well as other items too! We went with a group of 4 and it was a great experience. The atmosphere is way nicer than some of the other places around that focus on the robot servers, bright lights and game machines, and loud music. If you like spice, the sizchuan spicy hot pot was amazing. The Tom Kha was also delicious according to my wife. The lemongrass chicken wings were absolutely delicious as well.
The food was excellent! The owners are incredibly kind and made us feel right at home. Simple things like pouring the hot tea for you really shows the attention and care you can expect. I had the Lemongrass Chicken which was so tender and flavorful, as well as tasty egg rolls with thin crispy wrap, chicken satay with really good peanut sauce, and the Sichuan green beans in garlic with carrots and onions. The portions are very sizeable and so we got to enjoy really tasty leftovers the next day! I am excited to come back and try the hotpot!
What a true gem in Minneapolis. We need to support this place and show it lots of love! You can taste the love in the food. Service with a huge smile and great knowledge and interaction. Genuinely and actively making certain you are comfortable and well fed. The hot pots are so bursting with flavor!! And it’s a fun experience. My mom had the pad thai which smelled and looked phenomenal. Terrific ribs and variety. And fresh bubbly fruit drinks that refresh. Wonderful art and pristinely clean place. So good. Good people good food great place. Go again and again. Parking is easy and you will feel welcome. Everyone in our group was pleased and every bite amazing.
Jasmine 26 is one of those places that never disappoints. The food is consistently amazing, and in my opinion, they have the best salt and pepper tofu in the state. It's perfectly crispy, packed with flavor, and something I order every time I visit. Their hot pot is another standout. It doesn't matter if it's the middle of winter or a warm summer day, it always hits the spot. The flavors are rich, the ingredients are fresh, and it's the kind of meal that keeps you coming back. The service is always welcoming and the atmosphere makes it a great place to gather with friends and family. Jasmine 26 has become one of our favorite local spots, and it's easy to see why. If you haven't tried the salt and pepper tofu yet, you're missing out.
VEGAN HOT POT!!! The only hot pot restaurant I've ever seen that offers vegan food & there's plenty of options! Many broths, appetizers, & entrees are easily veganized & labeled clearly on the menu. Fresh veggies, crispy tofu, many noodles, & endless sauces. The Thai Chili Sauce was the cherry on top. The Thai Coconut & Spicy Sichuan broths are both a clean, warm, & spiced base for fixings. Flavors develop as ingredients cook & sauces are mixed in. Staff are super helpful & accommodating if it's your first time with hot pot. Highly recommend for any vegans around MPLS!
Jasmine 26 is a total gem!! The hot pot broths are phenomenal. So much flavor before anything else is added to the pot. Vegan herbal broth is delish. Highly recommend the fried tofu bites. Fun for a friend or family dinner. And don't forget to flip the menu over for more noodles!!! The owners are so friendly and create such a warm environment. And decoration is so thoughtfully put together. Can't say enough to about this wonderful spot.
Jasmine 26 is hands down my favorite place to relax and unwind in Minnesota. Their salt and pepper tofu is the best in the state, no question. Perfectly crispy, packed with flavor, and something I crave constantly. What really sets this place apart is the atmosphere. From the moment you walk in, it genuinely feels like family. The staff is warm, attentive, and makes you feel like a regular even on your first visit. It’s the kind of place where you want to stay awhile. Jasmine 26 is my go to spot to grab a drink, watch a game, and spend quality time with friends. The vibe is comfortable and lively without being overwhelming, making it perfect for both casual hangouts and longer nights out. Amazing food, great drinks, welcoming people, and an unbeatable sense of comfort. Jasmine 26 is a place I’ll always keep coming back to.
